This is my first (and so far only) USB flash drive so I have nothing to compare it to. I chose not to install the included software.I used this to transfer music, photos, videos and documents between my home, my work PC and have not had any problems. I would have liked a way to clip this onto something, like a keyring, because it is small and can get lost in my bag easily..
