I bought this charger as a replacement, since I lost my original charger.So far it has been working great.When the battery is fully charged the LED to indicate the fact that it, like all units. About the extra batteries I can't say anything yet.I have two original batteries, and is not used 2, which comes with a charger. For this price I am very happy with the product..
